First Mogusa 艾 Clay and E-Shino

Shino was a Favorite glaze of mine in Minnesota. I have made many tests, and after about 5 years of test have come up with something I like.

The clay is have Mogusa shino clay and Half Mashiko Nami. Iron brush unglaze decoration.

T These are my first tries with indoor lighting on pots. I am using clear sky blue 6700 kelvin lighting. Tatsuo sent me this fine bowl over the holiday seasons. Thank you Tatsuo! Thank you Hank!

Warren MacKenzie Tea Bowl

Got this and the pot below over the holidays. If you click and look at larger image, you can see large stone feldspar on the glaze surface and maybe applied ash. MacKenzie is in his 80s and continues to experiment.
