Hi, Lee. The "metallic" shinos are lovely. I've gotten that same effect, but only in refiring (and with a new coat of shino over the old one) pots that came out unsatisfactorily the first time. Hollis EngleyHatchville PotteryE. Falmouth, Ma.
Hollis, some of these may have been fired twice, with a thin coat of shino for the second firing in my woodkiln in Mashiko
